PIONEER CUP GAME RETURNS
Dallas hosts Crew in Lamar Hunt tribute

FRISCO, TX -- The second edition of the Pioneer Cup: A Tribute to Lamar Hunt returns to Pizza Hut Park on Saturday, March 20 at 7:30 p.m. CT with FC Dallas facing the Columbus Crew in their final preseason game before the 2010 Major League Soccer season.
The Pioneer Cup is a tribute match in honor of the late Lamar Hunt, who was the investor and operator of both teams.
General admission tickets for the Pioneer Cup are $10 and can be purchased online at ticketmaster.com or through the FC Dallas front office at 888-FCD-GOAL (888-323-4625). A special two-game package can also be purchased for $23 and includes one game ticket to the Pioneer Cup and one game ticket to the FC Dallas home opener on Saturday, March 27 versus the Houston Dynamo at Pizza Hut Park. Discount tickets for the Pioneer Cup are available for $5 for groups of 15 persons or more.
FC Dallas also will host a season ticket holder kick-off party in the Stadium Club prior to the Pioneer Cup match from 4 to 6 p.m. Full season ticket holders are invited to meet the 2010 FC Dallas team and pick up their season tickets.
For the really serious fans, another preseason match has been added to the FC Dallas schedule on Sunday, March 7 versus the Chicago Fire at M&F Bank Stadium in Ridgeland, Miss. The game kicks off at 3 p.m. CT and tickets are available for $18 in advance and $20 at the gate. For ticket information, call Ridgeland Recreation & Parks at (601) 853-2011.
FC Dallas kicks off the 2010 season at Pizza Hut Park on March 27 when they host in-state rivals the Houston Dynamo.
