FRISCO, TX – The FC Dallas 30-game MLS schedule was released today, along with the rest of the league schedule. The Red Stripes get a running start with the first two league games at home but those games came against traditionally rugged opposition. It starts against the fierce Western Division rivals Houston Dynamo, March 27, in a 3 p.m. Saturday matinee and continues two weeks later when FCD hosts the Columbus Crew, 2008 MLS champs, in a 7:30 p.m. game at Pizza Hut Park.

In the two-week break between the first and second game, PHP will play host to the Dallas Cup, March 28-April 4, 2010.

The team will wrap up the MLS season on the road, playing at Real Salt Lake Oct. 16 and at the Los Angeles Galaxy Oct. 24, 2010.

The official release follows:

The home opener with Houston March 27 will be televised on TeleFutura and is one of 10 FC Dallas games tabbed for national television broadcasts. Of those national broadcasts, four will air on TeleFutura, while four are scheduled for Fox Soccer Channel/Fox Sports en Espanol in the “MLS Saturday on FSC” slot. Two FC Dallas games will air on ESPN2. The squad’s local television schedule will be announced at a later date.
