FRISCO, TX – It is the end of the Anthony Wallace era in FC Dallas. The team has traded defender Anthony Wallace to the Colorado Rapids in exchange for a natural fourth round 2011 SuperDraft pick and a conditional 2012 SuperDraft selection, the club announced today.

FRISCO, TX– Dallas showed again it is moving ahead on developing players by showcasing the signing of three of its Junior players today following practice. Signed were Ruben Luna, Victor Ulloa and Moises Hernandez. Since they were signed to professional contracts under Major League Soccer’s homegrown player initiative, they won’t count against the senior roster list, announced FC Dallas’ Technical Director Barry Gorman.

RODRIGUEZ HEADER EARNS DRAW
Dallas rallies to equalize 1-1 at Toronto
FC Dallas extended its unbeaten road streak to seven games when Milton Rodriguez scored his first goal of the season on a snap header in the 77th minute. The score pulled FCD even with Toronto FC at 1-1, on BMO field in Toronto. It was Rodriguez’ second game since he formally joined the team after the International Transfer period opened July 15. The goal was just the fourth goal The Reds have given up at BMO this season.

In a clash of third-place teams
While FC Dallas has posted a 2-1-4 record on the road with just one loss (and that one, 2-1 at New York, was way back on April 17), Saturday’s opponent Toronto FC has yet to lose at home (5-0-3). In fact Toronto, which has yet to make the playoffs, hasn’t lost at BMO field in its last 15 games there, dating back to last season.

The fans have had their say and FC Dallas placed no players on the MLS All-Star First XI, released today by MLSsoccer.com. But that doesn’t necessarily mean there won’t be any FCD players on the team, or even starting. But in this count, the league-leading Los Angeles Galaxy is stirring the pot with a league-high four players represented.

One more time, David Ferreira snatched a critical point when Dallas was frustrated by a determined opponent. The fiery midfielder scored in the 87th minute off a pass from Heath Pearce to equalize the Seattle Sounders 1-1 and gain an important road point for FCD.
