And on Sunday night against the Vancouver Whitecaps, Pareja added another July win to his ledger as FCD blanked Vancouver 2-0, its MLS-leading ninth team shutout of the season, at Toyota Stadium.

COMMERCE CITY, Colo.--Considering the Colorado Rapids had allowed the fewest goals in MLS heading into Saturday’s match with FC Dallas at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, FC Dallas had no shortage of scoring chances. But it was an 82nd-minute blast by Victor Ulloa that tied the match and allowed FCD (12-6-5, 41 points) to leave Commerce City with a point in a 1-1 draw.

FCD bounces back from Seattle loss, regains Brimstone Cup
FRISCO, Texas---Saturday night was a highly-productive endeavor for FC Dallas on several fronts. Not only did FCD (12-6-4, 40 points) recapture the Brimstone Cup, which it hadn’t held in four seasons, by defeating the Chicago Fire 3-1 at Toyota Stadium, but it also rebounded nicely from the 5-0 shellacking it took on Wednesday night at Seattle Sounders FC.
