RED RAIDER RECRUITS
Jordie Harr heads Texas Tech list
LUBBOCK, Texas -- Texas Tech coach Tom Stone announced the signing of a highly-touted recruiting class that includes four members of prestigious Texas club programs, headed by midfielder Jordan Harr (Dallas Sting SC).
Harr (Sachse, Texas), twice Gatorade Texas Player of the Year, competed for the U.S. in U-20 World Cup qualifying.
"Jordie Harr is a really rare and unique talent," Stone said. "She is the quintessential playmaker. She is extraordinarily fast with and without the ball. Jordie is the perfect attacking mid or holding mid in our system. We plan on building our midfield around her. She is that special of a player. Jordan has been within the US National Team program for a few years now, she clearly has aspirations to be an international player and a pro player. She is very driven to play at that next level so our job is to help her get there."
Also signing were forwards Tatum Barton (Real Colorado), Jade King (Elite Girls Academy of Omaha), Australian Demi Koulizakis (Western Sydney Wanderers); midfielder Savanna Jones (Dallas Sting ’98), and defenders Sarah Norman (Dallas Sting) and Caroline Paulette (Sting ’98).
