COWGIRLS' RECRUITS
Oklahoma State announces nine signings

STILLWATER, Okla. -- The Oklahoma State Cowgirls have inked nine players for the 2016 season, coach Colin Carmichael announced.

The list includes eight players from high schools and two-time junior college All-America Coumba Sow (Monroe Community College), formerly a midfielder for the Swiss U-19 national team and three-time Swiss champion FC Zurich.

Seven hail from Texas, one from Oklahoma and Switzerland.

"Bringing in so many new players is great, it's exciting for us to get these young, hungry, energetic players," Carmichael said. "We've got some great talent in this class, and the sheer numbers will hopefully make us a little bit deeper. We made a push two years ago that we wanted to bring in a little bit more athleticism and a little more strength. We think we've done that. We think we've addressed the needs that we had."

Oklahoma State Cowgirl signees:
Claire Gantzer F/D 5-11 Plano, Texas
Dani Greenlee GK 5-9 Rockwall, Texas
Elise Hawn D 5-8 Melissa, Texas
Jaci Jones MF/F 5-4 Mustang, Okla.
Julia Lenhardt MF 5-8 Frisco, Texas
Charmé Morgan D 5-5 Frisco, Texas
Kirsten Siragusa D 5-8 Rowlett, Texas
Coumba Sow MF 6-0 Zurich, Switzerland
Briana Woodall F/MF 5-4 Kingwood, Texas
